BAMBER Bridge earned a reward for a fast start against Witton Albion and are now the only unbeaten team in the Northern Premier League’s top-flight.
Brig scored twice inside the opening 20 minutes and protected it impressively when Carl Macauley’s men sought a way back into the contest.
The visitors might have taken the lead when Rob Hopley headed wide at the far post but fell behind less than 60 seconds later when Matthew Dudley steered in Danny Forbes’ low cross.
