RANGERS FIGHT OFF CELTIC FOR FIRST WIN

STAFFORD picked up their first win of the season as Rangers beat Celtic in the league’s own version of the Old Firm derby.
The first half was a fairly even contest with both sides having chances to open the scoring but unable to take them.
Scott Bakkor fired over from the edge of the area early on for Stalybridge.
Jake Sherratt headed at Turner but the Celtic keeper had to be more alert to keep out a decent strike from Joe Cuff.
