WET WEATHER was the winner of this instantly forgettable game, although Enfield at least remain unbeaten.
The hosts dominated early possession but most moves for both sides petered out in the final third.
Enfield’s Billy Bricknell and Merstham’s Fabio Saraiva were both off-target before Aaron Greene close range eighth-minute shot was well saved by Amadou Tangara, and Brandon Adams flashed a shot wide.
Gus Sow’s volley for Merstham flew well wide as the sides changed ends with nothing to show for their efforts.
