KENDALL TOWN 1 RUNCORN LINNETS 2

RUNCORN Linnets remained top of the league after a narrow win at Kendal Town.
Kendal dominated after Danny Penswick fired over the bar, while Scott Harries forced a strong save out of Dylan Forth in the Runcorn goal.
Runcorn opened the scor ing six minutes into the second half after Connor McCarthy capitalised on a mistake before slotting the ball into an empty net.
Scott Harries equalised two scorminutes later for the hosts after a good one two in the penalty box.
