CASTLE EXTEND FINE RUN OF FORM

NEWCASTLE Town extended their unbeaten run to six games with a 1-0 victory over visitors Glossop North End.
Castle started brightly but the visiting side soon responded and Sam Bradbury made three important blocks.
Castle almost took the lead just before the break when Rod Orlando-Young crossed and Chris Smith fired over.
Castle started the second half well and Orlando-Young lost his marker to put Town ahead on 55 minutes.
Glossop pushed to try to get back level but Bradbury continued his imperious form to ensure no goals were conceded.
