SWEENEY’S BRACE IS ENOUGH FOR TOWN

DAN Sweeney’s first half double proved the difference as Hednesford beat South Shields.
Hednesford struck first in the fifth minute when Reece King headed back to Sweeney who drilled in a low effort that was deemed to have crossed the line despite the efforts of a visiting defender.
The home side doubled their lead in the 18th minute.
A corner was turned on by Sam Griffiths with Sweeney able to slam the ball home from six yards out.
Five minutes later David Foley fired a good chance well wide for Shields before Dan Cockerline saw an eff...
