A DISASTROUS last 15 minutes of the first half cost Lancaster any chance of getting a result.
Scarborough’s best chance in the early stages fell to Nathan Valentine who could only fire over the crossbar having been played through on goal.
There seemed to be little danger when a long ball was played into a wide position in the home side’s penalty area. Goalkeeper Jack Sims decided to claim it but unaware of him coming out, full back Lewis Fensome ended up heading the ball into his own net.
