PRESCOT Cables came unstuck as they were edged out by a well-organised Colwyn Bay.
The second half saw both teams up the tempo after an uneventful first period and Cables were in front on 55 minutes, Jack Lenehan finishing neatly into the top corner from the edge of the area.
That lead would last just six minutes as Lassana Mendes lobbed goalkeeper Ben Barnes from outside the area.
And the visitors were ahead soon after as Mendes squared the ball to Ashley Woods, who finished smartly past Barnes.
