Mariners keep up their record

MARINE continued their unbeaten 2019 with a draw against Stalybridge.
On-loan Everton goalkeeper Joe Hilton was just about the busier keeper in the first-half while making his home debut for Marine, but chances were at a premium for both sides.
Marine’s Danny Mitchley went close with a couple of long-range efforts before Stalybridge centre-back Chris Smalley headed narrowly over Hilton’s bar.
Craig Carney had the ball in the net for The Mariners just before half-time but the referee had already blown.
