LEAGUE leaders Farsley’s did their title ambitions a power of good with a narrow but overall deserved victory against their play-off seeking rivals after an even opening quarter hour in which both sides threatened to score.
Ash Young’s long throw for Buxton caused turmoil then for the visitors a Jack Higgins header was touched onto the bar by keeper Theo Roberts, then in the 18th minute Nathan Cartman’s neat turn and low shot gave Celtic the lead.
