A GAME of disappointing quality, particularly in the second half, was goalless because forwards on both sides failed to convert several clear openings.
Liam Hardy had the first for Buxton as he got away from the visiting defence, but shanked his early shot wide.
And soon afterwards his team-mate Jude Oyibo, who looked the most likely to create a goal, chipped an effort onto the bar.
