CABLES ENJOYING WINNING FEELING

IN the BetVictor Northern North West division, Prescot Cables recorded back-to-back victories for the first time this season after beating Dunston 1-0 at Hope Street.
The goal came early in the first half when James Edgar seized upon the indecision between the visiting right back and goalkeeper and passed the ball under the keeper to give the hosts the lead in the fourth minute.
Cables were the dominant force throughout the first half while limiting the visitors to few chances, mainly from set pieces.
