TWO goals early in each half settled this game for
Brighouse Town.
They were on the score sheet after two minutes as winger Ousman Cham volleyed home. City of Liverpool’s best chance came after 12 minutes but Jack Hazelhurst shot wide with only keeper Jordan Porter to beat.
In the 54th minute Darnell Mintus, on loan from Huddersfield Town, scored a superb goal for Town after being put through by Cham.
In the 76th minute after Town had headed over the crossbar narrowly on three occasions, Elliot Nevitt pulled one back for the visitor...
