TEN-MAN Pontefract Collieries recorded a 3-2 victory away at Widnes in the Northern Premier League North West Division.
A few opening exchanges saw both sides create chances, but it was the hosts who started the better as Sam Sheen drove the ball 60 yards and teed up Ben Hodkinson, who had his effort turned behind goal.
With 24 minutes on the clock, Widnes took the lead when Murray gained back possession in a hardfought battle and Hodkinson slotted home from a difficult angle.
