STAMFORD eased past Chasetown with a firsthalf brace from Tom Siddons, and it could have been more.
Stamford started the stronger and Siddons was played through with a neat ball from Harry Vince but Curtis Pond saved well with his feet.
Vince and Siddons combined again moments later with the latter rounding Pond and slotting home from a tight angle.
Cosmas Matwasa cushioned a nice header into Ollie Brown-Hills path but his shot was palmed away.
