Hot-shot Ali bags brace in vital win

ALISTAIR WADDECAR’S brace helped Bamber Bridge to a 3-2 win over Mickleover Sports at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
Joe Booth gave Brig the lead on six minutes, before Mickleover netted twice through Lee Hughes and captain Greg Young.
Waddecar levelled on the stroke of half-time before heading home the winner on 61 minutes.
The win, Brig’s fifth of the season at home, moves them six points clear of the bottom three.
