First home win is big survival boost

STAFFORD RANGERS gave their survival hopes a big boost with a first home win of the season to climb off the bottom of the table.
Both sides got into promising positions early on before Stafford took control, although they had to wait until midway through the first half before their first real opening arrived when Jake Charles did well to control a long ball from Sam Coulson before forcing a save out of visiting stopper Oliver Martin.
