CONNOR Hughes scored the only goal of the game as Colne fought out a hard won victory against Droylsden.
Droylsden created the better chances in an even fi rst half Colne keeper Hakan Burton in great form as he denied strikes from Jamie Frost and Domains Rouse before the interval.
But Colne were always in the game and took the lead in the fi rst minute of the second half when Hughes cut in from the left wing and found the net with a well struck shot past Droylsden keeper Chris Thompson.
