REDUCED SEASIDERS SCRAP TO VICTORY

MARSKE United took all three points in a 3-1 victory against Brighouse Town in the Northern North West Division, despite playing over half an hour with 10 men.
The Seasiders went close early on when Louis Johnson’s shot was saved by Brighouse goalkeeper Jordan Porter.
The visitors then thought they’d scored when Ousman Cham tapped in Thomas Haigh’s goal bound shot, but it was from an offside position. Porter made a string of crucial saves to keep the score level at 0-0 but Marske went ahead on 47 minutes when Kevin Burgess bundled home...
