Rowe and Blackett maul the Tigers

BATTLING Whitby Town ran out winners on a windy and rainy afternoon at Ewen Fields thanks to goals from Daniel Rowe and Paul Blackett.
The visitors were the better side in the first half, mainly due to the fact that they weren’t kicking into the wind, which the Tigers struggled to deal with.
The opening 45 minutes had very few chances for either side but Whitby did manage to go into the break ahead. Rowe finished a quick passing move, placing the ball past Luke Mewitt.
