DUDLEY NETS DOUBLE FOR BRIG TO BAG THE SPOILS

A BRACE from Matt Dudley helped Bamber Bridge to victory over Grantham Town.
Brig’s number nine scored a goal in each half before a Marshall Willock header halved the deficit for the visiting side.
The hosts opened the scoring on three minutes when Rowan Roache’s exquisite lofted pass with the outside of his foot found Dudley, who finished coolly into the bottom corner.
After a fast start, both teams began to settle into a rhythm, and it was Craig Westcarr who was first to test Brig keeper Danny Roccia on 23 minutes with a miscued effort.
