TIGERS SNARE PAIR

HYDE United have boosted their squad for the new NPL Premier season by snapping up Chinedu Uche and Jack Sherratt.
Midfielder Uche, 21, left Oldham last term and took some time out but is now ready to start again at Ewen Fields after impressing in pre-season.
Manager Dave McGurk said: “It’s not quite worked out for him in his career so hopefully we can give him a platform here and help him move back up the leagues.”
It looked as though former Stafford Rangers midfielder Sherratt, 27, would join Buxton, but he has now had second thoughts.
