TWO goals from Scarborough striker Nathan Cartman ensured that they began the 2020/2021 campaign with a win away at Atherton Collieries.
It had been 169 days since the last league game at the Skuna Stadium, and Colls couldn’t have made a worse start as a defensive error after 40 seconds allowed Cartman to take advantage before easily slotting home.
The home side settled into the game following their defensive blunder and had their fair share of chances throughout the first half.
