Burton’s debut goal seals victory

SCOTT BURTON scored the only goal of the game on his debut as Bamber Bridge secured a victory against Matlock Town at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
Brig had the best of the early chances with Callum King-Harmes firing narrowly over the bar from the edge of the box.
Jamie Milligan’s side went on to have more of the ball in the first half, and looked the more threatening of the two sides, but neither team could break the deadlock before the interval.
