SEEMINGLY in full control and two goals up by the 79th minute, Buxton somehow dropped two points as Whitby unexpectedly netted twice in three minutes.
Home keeper Tom Taylor until then had not had a shot to save as the Bucks had dominated proceedings from the outset without getting all the goals, their possession warranted as a resilient fi ve-man rearguard held them at bay.
Buxton took the lead in the 14th minute as a passing move set up Diego De Girolamo and his square pass was calmly netted by Reece King from 15 yards.
