A BAD-TEMPERED affair saw Whitby edge this battle of the north-east sides thanks to Jacob Hazel’s brace.
The former Frickley frontman would have had a hat-trick but for Dan Lowson’s penalty save.
However, it was the Highwaymen who had a spot kick of their own after the recalled Dan Burn was adjudged to have caught Liam Henderson with an outstretched arm in the Blues box.
