Double swoop for upbeat Gainsborough Trinity

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity have completed the signings of Callum Minkley and George Hornshaw.

Minkley, 20, is a former Derby County Under-23s centre-back while midfielder Hornshaw, 21, featured for Football League Two side Scunthorpe United last season.
Minkley said: “I’m delighted to get everything sorted and be a part of Gainsborough Trinity.
“I’ve been in training with the lads for a while now and I’ve loved every minute since coming in.
“The gaffer’s (Tom Shaw) been great with me and I think we’ve got a really good squad for the upcoming season.
