■ KIDSGROVE were beaten by an organised Bootle side who bounced back after going behind.
The home side took the lead after Will Whieldon’s shot was too powerful for Ryan Jones to keep out.
However, Bootle found themselves leading at halftime thanks to Jack McGowan who clinically finished both chances. Ryan Brown had to make a couple of great saves to stop Bootle extending their lead before the break.
