Matlock Town 2-1 Bamber Bridge: Phillips’ leaders are glad all over

MATLOCK Town opened up a six-point lead at the top of the NPL Premier table after edging out title rival Bamber Bridge in their eagerly-awaited first-versus-second clash.

MATLOCK Town opened up a six-point lead at the top of the NPL Premier table after edging out title rival Bamber Bridge in thei eagerly-awaited first-versus-second clash.
Alex Wiles’ first goal of the season on ten minutes gave the Gladiators the perfect start before Reece Kendall’s eighth doubled the advantage on 64 minutes.
