Kidsgrove Athletic 1-0 Warrington Rylands: Drought is over thanks to skipper

KIDSGROVE Athletic captain Anthony Malbon scored his 159th goal for the club as they secured their first win in twn league games by beating Warrington Rylands.

KIDSGROVE Athletic captain Anthony Malbon scored his 159th goal for the club as they secured their first win in twn league games by beating Warrington Rylands.
Malbon rose highest to head on the returning Oliver Jepson’s flick-on from a John Johnston corner to beat Graeme McCall and seal a priceless victory.
Kidsgrove had all the best chances in the game with Johnston and Will Byers forcing McCall into good saves in the first half, while Malbon smacked a volley just over the bar.
