GOALS from Matty Morgan and Kane Badby led Trafford to victory over Runcon Linnets.
Runcorn had the first major chance after 18 minutes when Oladapo Olarewaju was just beaten to a through ball by Trafford keeper Matt Cooper.
At the other end, Mike Burke and Matt Barlow had good chances to put the home side ahead.
The second half saw Trafford take a firm grip, and they struck in the 52nd minute.
Barlow’s effort was saved, but the rebound was smashed in by Morgan.
