■ SPALDING’S Gregg Smith smashed home a stunning 75th-minute winner to end Halesowen’s long unbeaten run.
The visitors created a good 35th-minute chance when Jordan Macleod was set free, but home goalkeeper Dan Platt made a superb block.
Halesowen’s best chance of their disjointed first half came when Chris Lait’s 42ndminute curling effort was tipped away by goalkeeper Michael Duggan.
Halesowen continued to struggle, but Duggan did make a good 63rd-minute save after Richard Gregory laid the ball off to fellow substitute...
