■ WISBECH fell to a home defeat in their first game under caretaker boss Dick Creasey, back with the club a sixth time. Given that Stamford are in the play-off places and the Fenmen at the other end of the table, it was perhaps a little surprising that the first half was goalless, but efforts from Wisbech’s Danny Draper and Jack Duffy for the Daniels saw the respective keepers tested.
The second half had a lot more goalmouth action, with Wisbech going close twice in a minute.
