BASFORD UNITED took all three points back to Nottingham thanks to a first-half goal from Tyreace Palmer
The story of the game was Hyde getting around the box and finding shots off, but lacked the conviction and power to find the back of the net. Tom Pratt and Eddie Brown both guilty of missing decent opportunities in the first half.
Then, on the stroke of half time Basford were gifted their lead as a mixture of a loose Hyde pass and miscommunication led Palmer to slotting gone past a helpless Joe Green.
