GRANTHAM overcame Morpeth at a windswept Meres.
Dan Lowson in the Morpeth goal saved from Elliott Durrell on 12 minutes but could do nothing a minute later when the same player’s shot took a deflection to put Grantham one up.
The game exploded in the 25th minute following a confrontation involving several players. Morpeth’s Michael Turner and Grantham’s Jonathan Wafula were shown red cards.
Morpeth went close on 37 minutes, but Jim Pollard in the Grantham goal saved at full stretch from Henderson’s close-range head...
