■TADCASTER were no match for a strong Shildon outfit.
The Brewers got off to the worst possible start when Ben Trotter ghosted in and side-footed the visitors into the lead after five minutes.
Despite growing into the game as the half went on, Tad didn’t manage to turn their pressure into shots on target.
On the stroke of half-time Shildon doubled their advantage, a corner was unfortunately headed into his own net by Jordan Deacey.
