After a cagey opening halfhour, Ilkeston struck twice in three minutes to take control.
First, a corner from the left was headed home by skipper Kieran Fenton, then Charlie Wakefield did superbly down the right before chipping across for Montel Gibson to nod in from close range.
Three minutes before halftime came a third, as Fenton struck from 25 yards with a free-kick which went in off the wall.
