■ FRICKLEY did enough to take the spoils in a cagey but crucial six-pointer against Bridlington at Westfield Lane.
Frickley’s Nathan Perks had an early chance saved by Brid’s James Hitchcock before a wind-assisted Oliver Green corner forced a save out of Frickley’s Jordan Pierrepont, and it was scoreless at the break.
The hosts took the lead in the 68th minute when sub Dev Morton headed on for Wells to poke the ball past the keeper. Louis Beckett had a chance to level when he broke with eight minutes to go, but he blazed over.
