PRESCOT Cables and Workington played out a fiercely contested goalless draw for a point that prove pivotal for both teams come the end of the season.
Workington went into the game as overwhelming favourites as they chase top spot once more. For Cables, avoiding defeat was likely to help their bid to avoid a super-playoff.
