■ CITY of Liverpool made it back-to-back wins with a narrow win over Mossley.
In a cagey first half, Purps centre-back Ryan Schofield opened the scoring from close range after MJ Monaghan’s shot rebounded to him.
The hosts came out for the second period with far more attacking intent and should have put the game beyond Mossley, who had Devon Matthews sent off for a second booking after 69 minutes.
