■ A FLUENT win guaranteed an end-of-season play-off spot for Cleethorpes.
The first period saw the home side largely on top against relegation battlers Frickley. However, visiting keeper was in great form, making a terrific save to deny Jack McMenemy.
After the break, McMenemy did break the deadlock, the big striker deftly flicking home from six yards.
Man-of-the-match Jordon Cooke then powered in a right-wing corner from Loz McKay in the 68th minute to make the points safe.
