■SPALDING United were far too strong for Soham  Town Rangers scoring early in each half on their way to victory at Julius Martin Lane.
The Cambridgeshire club slipped to the bottom of the table with this defeat and their Easter Monday clash with Wisbech Town – the team which leap-frogged them – looms ever larger.
