■ PICKERING secured another massive three points making it three wins on the spin for a club that many had written off.
An early blow, however, saw striker Moses Aboiye carried off before the hosts’ Donny Holdsworth forced the Steels goalkeeper into a poor clearance, but he managed to claw the ball back just in time. Steels rallied and winger Nat Crofts chipped Ben Bottomley in the Pickering goal, but the ball came back off the bar.
