■ CLITHEROE boosted their play-off hopes with a win over Glossop North End.
Clitheroe took the lead after six minutes when Jack Burrows exchanged passes on the left and as the ball was swept to Jamie Edwards on the right, he tacked across the box and picked his spot in the top corner.
In the second half, Danny Wilkins had an effort tipped round a post, while Edwards blasted over.
However, it was goal sensation Max Cane who brought some relief when he received the ball in the box and thumped it home.
