■CLITHEROE finally made home advantage tell in the final minutes of injury time, but they were pushed all the way by local rivals Ramsbottom.
Ross Dent opened the scoring for Clitheroe after 12 minutes with a close-range shot, but the visitors replied in superb fashion as Tony Donaldson received a lofted pass and crashed it home on the run.
Ramsbottom took the lead on the stroke of half-time from a mix-up as keeper and defender missed a high bouncing ball, leaving Domaine Rouse to slip the ball home.
