■VICTORY over Corby means Belper finished fifth in the Midlands Division to secure the final play-off place.
Belper deservedly took the lead in the 42nd minute after Riece Bertram headed a Sam Muggleton cross into the path of Derry Robson, who smashed his volley into the top left corner from close-range.
The Nailers scored a second goal in the 62nd minute after a Muggleton long throw found its way to Tom Wilson at the back-post and he acrobatically volleyed the ball into the top right corner.
