■ BRIDLINGTON had several chances to claim victory but eventually had to settle for one point.
The hosts started the game the brighter side and had a shout for a penalty after 19 minutes when Joe Norton nicked the ball off Michael Emery in the Carlton goal. Just five minutes later, Norton almost had his first goal in a Brid shirt, but he couldn’t quite bundle the ball home on the goal-line.
