MARINERS REEL ‘EM IN TO EXTEND LEAD

SOUTH SHIELDS extended their lead at the top of the Pitching In NPL Premier with an away win at Lancaster City.
An early own goal from Dolly Blues defender Andy Teague and Michael Woods’ strike put Kevin Phillips’ side 2-0 up at the break and saw them go four points clear.
Marske United are up to second – hot-shot striker Adam Boyes scored twice as they beat Guiseley 3-1.
Radlciffe’s 1-0 victory at Marine puts them third, while Bradley Roscoe’s double in a 4-2 win over Warrington Rylands saw Hyde United move into the play-off spots.
