■ WITTON ALBION defeated Widnes in a fivegoal thriller.
The home side took a seventh-minute lead when Luke Sephton nodded in from a Stephen Rigby corner.
Witton rarely threatened in the opening 20 minutes, but a quickfire double turned the game on its head.
Cameron Fogerty turned home on the half-volley at the midway point of the half before Joe Duckworth converted a penalty two minutes
later to give Albion the lead against the run of play.
