LEEK Town produced a devastating away performance to take the points against City of Liverpool.
It was a cagey game of few chances before Leek took the lead after 34 minutes. Tim Grice rounded the Purps keeper and unselfishly squared it for Thomas Carr to sidefoot home.
Grice then extended the lead after being put through and bent a low finish into the bottom corner.
